We stayed for a week for work purposes.. hotel is renovated from not so long ago. rooms are spacious, with simple but nice decoration and bathroom with a huge shower tray very comfortable for people with reduced mobility. Fantastic cleanliness and perfect location for us who had to go every day to the area where the Alcala fair is located. To emphasize the kindness and treatment of ALL the staff. Lució the owner gave us all kinds of facilities from the first moment, what a gentleman and what a class. Lucia was charming, Mila my fellow countryman was equally charming and Cristian the boy who is in reception exactly like his two classmates. I want to thank you all for the treatment received, it's nice to be in a hotel and feel at home. You are all great!!! If one day I go back to Alcala I will not hesitate to stay there. I recommend it 100% for its location. price and cleanliness, I put a 10 because you can't put a 20.
Everything is perfect
It was centrally located. I enjoyed the hotel and its staff, helpful! You can also visit Brasbeer that offers excellent meals.
Friendly staff, they received us very well at the reception and when we left they told us what to visit and which road to take to continue our journey. beds are very comfortable, two singles together that form a bed of 2 meters, approx. air conditioning was on and despite the heat of the street in August was very good in the room. The shower is very big and bathroom is well equipped.
I liked everything, for saying something that we didn't get the cafeteria open either after dinner or in the morning for breakfast, I don't know if it would be something punctual. From the room you could see the recording of the roof of the ground floor and air machines, not a spectacular view but it is the least because we were very well to spend the night halfway through our trip.
private parking on-site was provided. a reasonable base for exploring alcalá de henares. we greatly enjoyed staying at cisneros. location, an easy walk to all attractions.
staff, design, breakfast, comfort, location.we chose this hotel based on location and rate. we were looking for a hotel that was halfway between our home on the costa blanca and the ferry port of bilbao. we did not realise that we had chosen the town that was the birthplace of cervantes, the author of don quixote. so we had a history trip as well as a stopover. a good chice for us
no complaints at all
The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. They were also very helpful whenever I needed directions or taxis. The hotel was not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms were a very good 3 star standard on the inside.
The breakfast was was not what I was expecting. It would normally include cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, etc. but these were not provided. Just bread and butter. Beware that it is about a 20 minute walk to the centre. This can be quite annoying until I realised that there are very few hotels closer to the centre than this. I would have been nice to have an information pack in the room as well as an English tv station.
This was my second stay after several years. It is still a great choice, a budget hotel with very friendly staff, a short walk to the old town of Alcala de Henares. Recommended.
Breakfast is a bit basic and the same every day. But then this is a budget hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff; clean and modern decor; comfortable bed; effective air conditioning.
Nice hotel, easy to reach from the Barajas airport. We had a stop over on the way to Barcelona. Everything worked including air conditioning (important!). No complaints, would go there again.
Good location. Walking distance of old town. Access to bus to train and bus station. Clean rooms. Simple breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.
We were travelling for pleasure and wanted something away from Madrid center. Hotel is not close to anything, nowhere to eat close by. No parking except at the hotel itself which is expensive. For business this hotel would be okay
The hotel was in a good location just a few minutes (12) walk from the Town centre and I must say what a fanastic town centre Alcala de Henares is. I had no idea that I had chosen such a fantastic location! As other people have said the girls on the front desk are really really helpful. The hotel was clean, smart, and comfortable. The free wi-fi was great. The car park below the hotel was useful and I don't think over expensive at 9 euros a night - better than in the street. We used this hotel travelling down to Granada and on the way back.
Being english I like my tea making facilities the hotel had no faciltites for this at all - in fact we found that none of the hotels we stopped at had these facilities so next time we will take a travel kettle. Mind you as a result we crossed the road and went to the bar in between the flats and had a couple of coffees and a lager for less than 5 euros plus a couple of tapas - completly spainish brilliant!
All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were all very clean. Hotel very convenient for Madrid airport.
Only food served in hotel is breakfast. There are bars nearby but surroundings might seem intimidating to some people, but we found staff in bars and shop nearby to be very welcoming and friendly.
Just a few minutes walk into Alcala town, but without the parking problems that you get if staying in the centre. Clean rooms, with air- con, pretty much the usual modern "standard" that you will find all over the world, but with a spacious walk-in shower; better than a shower over a bath that most places have. Decent breakfast selection (for a continental, that is) which is available from 7 - 11.
No bar or restaurant, but there are a couple of bars over the road and plenty of restaurants in town. Bed was a bit hard for my liking.
